1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
(Click here)


3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the tail exhaust pipe assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 compression springs, and remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.



4. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

  1. Remove the bolt, the nut and the manifold stay.



5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, the bolt and the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.



6. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 bolts, the 4 nuts and the exhaust manifold converter.

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket and the EGR inlet gasket from the cylinder head.



7. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, the nut and the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.



8. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and the No. 3 exhaust manifold heat insulator.
